Maj Robert Thornton From the Sound of what I've read this was a "Trainer" No Explosives, Probably got loose from the Submarine Ordnance Facility in the County but Somebody's Ass is Going to be in a Sling Over this One. Can You Say Captn's Mast at a Minimum, Maybe some Officer Getting Canned!

Interesting explanation. So did authorities place a charge on it and detonate it? It sure looks like an explosion in the picture.
But you are correct, if it came from Submarine Ordinance Facility, someone is going to feel some major heat.
