This is such a tragic occurrence. As much as we love our fur babies, please be extra cautious in any terrain. My community is so nice and manicured. But my neighbors caution me that copperhead and water moccassins come out of the creeks into our yards. So I have to be very careful in the city with my fur baby in the yard. Please exercise caution on your property.
