What is the point of having managers who don't know what is transpiring in their organization.

MAJ Ken Landgren Dude! You've obviously haven't experienced any of the dark side of the VS. I've got 30 years of more bad than good. If you're in Texas, then you got lucky. Elsewhere, Doctors refuse care and meds, your healthevet account gets suspended for using words like harassment, woke, adjust your attitude and prescribe meds that take ALL emotions, the ability to love, greave, away for 7 years and don't tell you about it even after the worst withdrawal one has ever experienced. So yeah. I'm a combative Chief that was trained that way. Didn't have the cushy life of a "0".

CPO Chief Pitts You know nothing about me. My life has not been cushy. You can be mad at the VA, but denigrating me is assholish.

From the article:
"“However, VA is aware that because of the nature of military sexual trauma … stressors, it is often difficult for a victim to report or document the event when it occurs,” the report stated.

“As a result, if the (military sexual trauma) leads to PTSD, it is often difficult for victims of (military sexual trauma) to produce the required evidence to support the occurrence of the reported assault,” it said."

Very much the same as in the civilian world. VA need specialized reviewers to take these cases. Not sure if they have the funding to expand into that.
