Always thought if a woman strikes a man, he has the right to defend himself. If she had a gun, would you not protect yourself or your loved ones because she is a woman. Equality is equality is equality...

A man striking a woman has always been frowned upon even if it is in retaliation. Sucker punching an elderly man, for me, negates the taboo. Guns are a totally different issue. Now we're talking about self defense

A punch has been known to kill a person, are there different kinds of defending yourself from possible death? I have always hated to see men get beaten nearly to death because they were not supposed to hit a woman. Look on YouTube you can see many examples of this type of behavior.
