In the case of the M-9 bayonet, it is a tool more than a weapon. I've used it for all kind of things and hardly ever to cut anything. Sadly I have hammered it into the ground and hooked pulleys to it to drag IEDs out to a safe area. Perfect tool for lots of jobs like a hammer and saw.
