Roseanne 'Disgusted' by James Gunn Supporters, Blasts Double Standard

Honestly she needs to just go away for awhile and get herself together. She is lucky she lasted as long as she did with ABC.

However - it is pretty odd that Gunn is being defended by all these people. Yes he made the "jokes" years ago but they are pretty disturbing jokes. He said he did it to be provocative and controversial - and it's odd that 10 years went by and no one said anything - but they came up and Disney fired him because that was really their only option. Yes lots of people make controversial jokes but if you're in the spotlight and entertainment industry, it's best to keep those things off social media. Keep it to yourself. Here's a couple:

In one of the many deleted tweets, from 2008 to 2011, Gunn wrote: “I’m doing a big Hollywood film adaptation of The Giving Tree with a happy ending – the tree grows back and gives the kid a b—job.”

In another, he wrote, “The Expendables was so manly I f—ked the s—t out of the little p—y boy next to me! The boys ARE back in town!”

Some people supporter her though when she got fired - and others didn't. Some support Gunn and others don't. There's not a double standard. But honestly if someone I knew made jokes like that I would probably distance myself from them.
