I know what I would like to see the American Bald Eagle stick in that lion's tail. It's time for us to stop playing "touch & smile" with these theocratic dictators. The Iranian people deserve self-determination and we deserve to be rid of the prime movers of chaos from the Med to India.

I agree, however, the Iranian people need to step it up and get out in the streets. They need a revolution not American troops. The people behind the Iron Curtain caused it to collapse and have made better lives for themselves. We have tried to help people in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria a little with pretty mixed results. If they free their mind, their asses might follow. We cannot do this for them, they have to want it bad enough to risk it all for freedom. We can provide help but we should not be landing troops to do it.

Honestly, I cannot disagree with you. Part 2 of my response is for us, but I am not necessarily calling for a ground war. That would be too costly an American lives and play badly.
