I saw similar post on this just yesterday. Just a wee bit hard to believe an officer that just finished as an IG didn't know better. I never wanted a Generals Aide job. Understood it usually helped that Junior officer in the future it just wasn't for me.

Knew some Colonels who had same attitude, fortunately most never made General. Disgraceful jerks comes to mind.

Amen Sir Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen I think we all have. In fact for a while there is seemed all birds had too many feathers and no enough meat but on the other hand two separate birds come to mind who were exactly what a senior looks like. "Don't mistake my kindness for weakness."
