Congress need to get with the program. We have a big problem with gangs selling illegal drugs. Prohibition did not work just like the war on drugs has not worked.

you'll get no argument from me on that SGT (Join to see) I am wondering if this as big of a deal as the feds make out. This article is specifically discussing people with medical marijuana prescriptions, what about those with other prescriptions known to impair judgement? Are we going to see our medical histories tied to the gun purchase database?

So you're basically telling us that prohibiting the sale of scary black firearms, prohibiting the possession of banned magazines and prohibiting the concealed carrying of firearms won't work either. I'd agree, since I already ignore any restrictions on my 2nd Amendment rights.

LTC (Join to see) - I hope not or no one would ever be able to legally purchase a gun with our prescription drug companies lobbying Congress! CDR Dan Cunningham I was talking about the war on drugs Commander. All the policy has done is increase illegal drugs and brought in illegal weapons like assault weapons that gangsters use. The real ones, not AR-15s. "That government is best which governs least."

LTC (Join to see) I've taken fentanyl & morphine. No one mentioned not driving on fentanyl, but we sign a contract to not drive on morphine.
It isn't safe, no matter what your brain tells you. Like alcohol, you might feel invulnerable. I didn't. I was just glad the pain went away. Problem is, morphine wants to kill you. It wants more & more & more & some physicians go with it.
God willing, I'll be OFF the stuff by Christmas, & get a hip replacement, pronto.

Marijuana and Other Drugs totally changed my teenage step daughters and both of them are high school dropouts, addicted to smoking, have mental issues and often think of suicide or are depressed. Neither of them completed high school and both of them are on welfare. No you may have conflicting studies, exposing marijuana to young people will often screw them up like in two step kids example. I am not a fan of legal marijuana unless you are terminally ill and over 60.

Instead of an "and", I'd go with "or". A friend & State Assemblyman' s son had terminal cancer & couldn't eat. MJ helped calm his stomach & enabled him to eat.
I fully agree that people who haven't completed brain development, yet, should only receive that TX if they have something like cancer & are dying.

BTW, I use CBD OILS to help ease the acute pain coming from nerve damage in my back & needing a hip & knee replacement, possibly both knees.
I don't want to get high. I hate any kind of smoke, except the smell of a good pipe tobacco, but prefer not to have some idiot smoking in the grocery store.
I can't attend concerts due to the weed. It makes me ill. Additionally, like many children of smokers, I have COPD.
I'll use the oils externally.

Any psychotropic medication before age 25 is a potential liability. It's why men can't get rental cars until they're at least 25 and have a major credit card

PFC Kimberly Staiti - I think its Men/Women under 25 can't get rental coverage very easy. Yes, the brain grows up to age 25. Others on RP, who smoke pot for their PTSD, agree with me that Pot on a teenage brain is dangerous and damaging.
