Where do we consistently find such wonderful people to serve and protect us? Anyone who doesn't think that America is an exceptional nation should just read a few Medal of Honor biographies. One of my favorite examples is Private Roger Young:
"No, they've got no time for glory in the Infantry,
No, they've got no use for praises loudly sung,
But in every soldier's heart in all the Infantry
Shines the name, shines the name of Rodger Young.
Shines the name — Rodger Young,
Fought and died for the men he marched among.
To the everlasting glory of the Infantry
Lives the story of Private Rodger Young."
Best,
Hugh

From my favorite book of all time about the duties of service and citizenship, Robert Heinlein's immortal work. "Starship Troopers". Please read the book. The movie is not worthy of the book.
