GySgt John Olson - ha..the fine folks from Men in black said it best:
“Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know tomorrow.” -K
Didn’t even break an NDA..

GySgt John Olson - it was actually from the movie.
Better yet, it actually makes sense. It perfectly explains my point, and I don’t remotely have to discuss my clearance, your clearance, (and you’re probably read off), NDAs, scifs, what you think you haven’t seen, what I know I have seen, etc.
So yes, that quote is just about perfect. You had it all figured out when you were the satellite lord of the Corps. But imagine what you could know tomorrow. If you can’t accept that as being a possible truth, then you aren’t nearly as clever as you appear to give yourself credit for.

GySgt John Olson you don’t need weapons to militarize space. I am aware of the constitution saying the president can’t make a branch. I’m also aware of the Outer Space Treaty of 1967. Having military assets in space is something we need for national security as well as space commercialization. Take GPS for example. The military had it first, now it’s available for public use.

GySgt John Olson - there’s actually quite a difference. As I quoted the character from the movie, the quote must be directly attributed to the movie character.
“A gentleman who cannot say what he means can never mean what he says.” I heard that somewhere..
As the movie is only based on the comics, and steers away heavily from the source material, it’s hard to say that I quoted a comic book character. As I exactly quoted a movie character, it’s quite easy to say that I did. Semantics, though, right?
While there are actually, far greater levelers than PA school, I think you’re viewing ‘weapons’ in the wrong sense. I’m not saying there are satellites of HIMARS and Gatling guns whizzing around.

Seems like the idiot isn’t in the Trump administration, but in the mirror.

Apparently the MSgt isn't aware either that space has long been since "militarized" in some fashion. Only come back is Elementary level at best.

Not sure how you figure that. Space has been militarized since the 1960s. The Space Treaty you refer to prohibits putting WMD in outer space. There’s lots of military equipment and even conventional weapons (e.g. killer satellites) in space.
