And please understand, I'd read in other material over sevl yrs, the populace didn't want to cave...it was just that the monster was so utterly oppressive, that the Czech exile government was justly terrified the monster might actually succeed, despite the resistance of the populace, as that monster was so totally violently oppressive in the type of tyranny generated there under that monster, that was all I'd meant to explain, many thanks....

I'd obv read of the story a long while back...that thing was extremely dangerous, a perfect example of how a mind can go totally wrong, what was done to that monster was obv completely necessary, as well as wholly justified...that thing was major serious bad news, the whole world breathed a collective sigh of relief when that monster was gotten rid of...the Czech government in exile, I'd read elsewhere, quite clearly knew what would most likely happen when they sent in the team, that was precisely why they did it, as the populace, I'd read, was, from what I gather they'd been afraid of, actually in danger of caving to that sick monstrosity, that, at any rate, was what I'd seen in various literature I'd read on the whole story, they knew there'd be horrible reprisals, it was to their inestimable credit that they ordered the team to go in anyway, and that Churchill (as he certainly must have known) and his SOE, I gathered, helped them achieve that success...
