Heck they haven't even had nukes for a decade and it's going to take a decade to get rid of them? Get serious, pull the plug or keep on being sanctioned by the world.

Yep. What matters most in this situation is foreign relations between the two countries. They don't need anyone else's permission to achieve a peace treaty, conduct bilateral talks, establish economic, trade, and other forms of policies that would benefit both their nations. It is important that the people of two Koreas define the future of the Korean peninsula; not China, Russia, US or Japan.
