More Than 4,000 Soldiers Just Lost Their BAH

The article said they didn’t update their status as requested. If you poke yourself in the eye with a sharp stick, expect it to hurt.

There was a cutoff not too long ago to update paperwork (if needed). Soldiers (including myself), were given ample time and warning this was coming up. There really isn't any excuse.

We were told many months ago to fill out the proper paperwork and resubmit it otherwise, you will loose your BAH. It hit a few people that I know and my first question to them was did you fill out the form and resubmit it. All four of them said no. I am not placing blame on the military for this one - those individuals had all the time in the world to get their information updated.
