It is unfortunate the article will essentially fall on deaf ears. Those inclined to already agree with the content of the article, will read it nod their head and move on.
Those inclined to disagree, IOW support the position of the various authors cited, will shake there head at the dirty, nasty "Gun Nut" that wrote the article, if they read it in total at all, it too will fall on deaf ears.

So true. It has to be word of mouth, if you can get someones attention away from their phone long enough to have a real discussion.

SGT (Join to see) I am sure that the gun grabbers would prefer that this kid had used an MSR as opposed to the weapons he did use. His father was irresponsible in not having an AR-15 in the house for his son to use in his mass murder. He should be brought up on charges for child neglect. I mean really what parent doesn't provide an assault rifle for his child to use when shooting up a school. The poor boy was deprived of a proper school shooting. Ok that is all I can handle spewing. It is of course sarcasm. It just goes to the point that seems to be missed by these morons. ONE victim is too many. Instead of trying to focus on hardening schools so they are not the soft target they are, the focus is always on firearms. Reality, banning guns is not going to bring back the 10 people this kid shot. Reality, banning guns is not going to bring back the 17 killed in parkland Florida. Reality, banning guns is not going to bring back the 50 killed in Las Vegas, or Orlando. Further reality, banning guns is not going to prevent acts of violence. Increasing humanity, suspending bullies from school, treating mental health concerns, making targets more difficult for a violent person to hit all of those will REDUCE acts of violence. The final reality is this, there is no way to eliminate violence. There are people in this world who are going to commit acts of violence. They may use their fists, blunt objects, explosives, vehicles, and yes firearms, but those people are out there. They cannot be eradicated. The best we can do is mitigate their ability to cause harm to innocents.
