This is simply an example of the Fast and Furious Operation by the Federal Government to flood the zone and not enforce gun laws in order to cause a desired effect. By not enforcing gun laws it provides the cover for the Left to attack the 2A. Notice how no one points the cause back to the Government. Somehow the NRA will get the blame. This is a skilled political play against firearm ownership.

LTC (Join to see) the argument is a fallacy anyway. It applies intent to an inanimate object. It implies that firearms are inherently evil. It removes the responsibility for action from the person using the firearm. I agree with you in that making the NRA and those of us who legally own firearms the bad guy is the play they are making. If you are not willing to give up your guns, you want to see school massacres. Really sad.

PO3 Steven Sherrill - You should have seen the article USAToday had yesterday. The title of the article is "Would the Founders want our kids to die in school shootings like Santa Fe? I doubt it." This implies that anyone who supports the right to keep and bear arms must want children to die.

SSgt (Join to see) - It is an easy question. No of course not. They would want us not to allow schools to be easy targets. They would have wanted us to not allow society to devolve to the point where kids are left feeling their best option is a killing spree.
