Not new. Back in the 70s & 80s we had Royal Australian Air Force F-111 crews assigned to our wing at Pease AFB. Great way to exchange ideas and tactics plus about every 6 months they'd get sent a shipment of Fosters Ale. That was always the sign me to hold squadron picnics.

Fosters Ale brings back memories. Not the favorite beer of the Aussies but definitely the cheapest.

That probably explains why that was shipped to them. Plus if it was Australian beer those Americans would think it's great.
