Once upon a time the fireteam was the smallest tactical unit consisting of two bullet catchers, an auto-rifleman, and a grenadier.

So now a fireteam is 3 men... what’s the breakdown? Is the squad becoming the new ‘smallest’ tactical unit? What capability is being surrendered by the fireteam? Are they all bullet catchers with a special weapons team in each squad?
