Unpublished CDC Study Confirms over 2 Million Annual Defensive Gun Uses

Considering the number of guns in the US and the number of unreported crimes, my guess is the number is actually low.

An example is - a fellow with a knife tries to rob a guy with a gun. The robber runs away when he sees the gun. The victim doesn’t report the crime because nothing was stolen from him. Yet the gun was used successfully to defend himself and his property.

That can't be right because if it were true CNN and MSNBC would have covered it right?

Now I have never understood why the CDC gets involved in gun research at all. I also don't find that surprising at all I do wonder how they got to that number.
