Dozens of Dodge Chargers were destroyed during the filming of The Dukes of Hazzard TV series and the remake movie that came out about 15 years ago.

The way the cameras were placed inside the cars made you feel like you were in
the cars as they were going airborne on those San Francisco streets.

When I was in high school, I was taking pictures through the TV using my 35mm camera of that scene where Steve McQueen's backing up burning rubber and then burning rubber going forward and you could tell he did not have a limited slip differential! I can't believe they didn't put a 9-inch rear end positraction rear end in that Mustang!
