It sound like their biggest problem was not deploying the tanks properly. If they had watched the way the Germans, French, British and the Americans used tanks they may have learned something. The German example was a whole new way to conduct warfare and use armor. The Italian way of using tanks in a limited way defeated the purpose of even having them.

Based on the number of rivets in that picture, I hoped they liked spalling. Of course, they weren't the only AFVs of the time to suffer that little flaw.
