The Second Amendment comes first in teaching constitutional law

SGT (Join to see) One of the responsibilities that comes with the rights guaranteed in our Constitution is being an informed citizen. A responsibility that many seem to be failing at miserably. This article is well written. The author managed to write a piece about the Second Amendment without adding his personal opinion on the matter which alone is impressive to see from a teacher. I don't care if a person agrees or disagrees with my opinion, that is their right. I do care if it is based solely on an emotional response and the person has not bothered to learn about the issue at hand. I wish more teachers would simply challenge students as it seems this teacher is doing, rather than pushing out mindless drones ready to serve their corporate masters.
