Army could give back pay to Guard officers who are promoted but waiting for pay raises

I'll take the back pay but what is really needed to make it right is to make sure that the date of rank gets moved back as well. Not only are officers in the FED REC process getting short-changed (literally) until they get completely through the process, their career is essentially on hold because they can't start the clock on time-in-grade requirements for the next rank until they're federally recognized.

This is a start but not the whole solution.

My state promo order for 1LT was cut 10 months ago. Still waiting on Fed Rec... hopefully things start moving soon!
