Trump’s Border Deployments Could Actually Harm Military Readiness

Well, here is a view I never considered. Since Mattis has to redirect funds inside the Pentagon to pay for all the NG being deployed to the border for the foreseeable future, could it conceivably harm the readiness of the military since they will be receiving less funds that Trump and other members of Congress fought so hard for?
