If they want to get rid of them, I'll take one, they shouldn't complain, they could be toting an M-60 Pig around.

They need to go to the EBR. 7.62. made from a very reliable weapon with a very good service history. The only issue I see is soldier maintenance. I own a Garand...it's fun to clean.

The article has been updated. Now it says the M16A4's are for foreign sales, not for US troops.
