Alexander the Great for his ability to attack enemy weaknesses.

Spartacus for his ability to motivate an insurgency, provide logistics, maneuver, and beat several Roman legions.

Eisenhower for his overarching plan to liberate N Africa and Europe.

This was a great maneuver. This is kind of like when the devil's Brigade came over the top behind the Germans in Italy. The Germans weren't expecting The American Canadian Special Forces Unit to have The High Ground. Hannibal used his African elephants to cross the Alps and coming to Italy and come in from The High Ground. Just think, the elephant was the equivalent of the Abrams tank of his day with its strong animal and Fear Factor kind of like the tank was at the end of World War one.
