Good site, obviously....I'd expect that, as internecine civil wars, from all I'd read, generally tend to get that way, even rather more than purely international wars...intranational wars, for some reason, often tend to ne rather considerably worse, the US Civil War being an archetypal example...however, if you watch the Ken Burns Civil War epic, at one point, the natprrator, David McCulloch, recounts that a rebellion had gone on in China at the same time, that apparemtly had 20,000,000 casualties before finally being put down, yet another example, I suppose....
