That should work well....I would love to know the thought process, or lack thereof which goes into the creation of these bills and exactly WHAT they think will be the outcome...Realistically

I went looking for this bill. In every single article I tried there was no bill number for either the House or the Senate. Even on Congress.org you need to manipulate the search options a bit. Anyway, the bill they're referring to is H.R.5383 - To prevent the purchase of ammunition by prohibited purchasers. Neither the summary or the text has been put on the site yet. This one will probably die in committee.

We already knew the woman was an idiot. This makes a gun ban look like a Sunday picnic. "Gun nuts" tend to reload their cartridges. Will we next see separate bills on the materials?

I didn't find a House number. Thanks. I have heard that powder and components are being considered. No word on the validity of it, but it stands to reason.

Before long people will be corning powder in their basements. Sulfur is pretty simple, a nitrate as well, and charcoal is cheap and easy. Hell, cordite's only not so easy to get ingredient is nitroglycerine. Nitrocellulose can be bought by the drum for making nail polish.
