If you truly want the VA to work you have to dump everything they are currently doing amd start all over again. Emulate the largest private hospital system in the country and dump the union system. If that is too fast for you then take the 5 largest VA hospitals and increase everybody’s pay by 25% if they drop the union. Then see how production/patient care goes up.
