This is the message I feel led to share.
Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior: We shouldn’t try to be “Christian”, if we do, we are shooting too low...
...instead, try to be “Christ Like”. If you don’t believe there’s a difference, then look closer. A Christian is, by definition:

You see, this definition merely implies that you profess to know Christ and His teachings. It says that you receive the Word and Baptism, you are a Christian.
To strive to be Christ-like is continual and constant. It is a “pursuit”, not a “destination”.

Yes - and to be Christ like you have to do what Christ did (minus the healings as we don't have his power); however Christ kept the Law to include the 10 Commandments (including keeping the 7th day Sabbath, not Sunday (the venerable day of the SUN as set forth by Constantine and the Catholic Church in 330AD) and the Dietary law.
As the scriptures say in John 14:15 "If you love me, keep my COMMANDMENTS"
John 15:10 "If ye KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
Romans 12:17 "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."

Amen LT Baird. I beleive that we should forever be in pursuit of perfection, tireless in our efforts. Now, we will only ever see perfection when we are at the feet of the Father and see Christ face to face. That’s why I love this saying...
