When I was a kid I would frequently pick up a volume from the set of encyclopedias in the house and just thumb through it discovering things that I wasn't even looking for, but found fascinating. Now, there are some few here on RP who may not know what the hell I'm talking about. [Note: An encyclopedia is a set of books containing information about a vast array of human knowledge much like Wikipedia which took its name from Wiki (Hawaiian for "fast" and pedia a root word meaning "learning") Well, the young can be excused for not understanding what an encyclopedia is since such books have largely disappeared. They've been made obsolescent by the Internet and the Worldwide Web. Thus today, when I have an idle moment and tire of annoying Leftists, I will scan the Internet/Worldwide Web looking for things that I find fascinating but didn't know existed. How can I? How can I search for something when I don't know what I'm searching for? I use StumbleUpon. It's a search engine for finding things you didn't know you were looking for. Rather than giving it search criteria as you might with other search engines such as Google and Bing, you check off categories of information that you find interesting. Then, when you Stumble around the Internet/WorldWide Web, it will return random webpages that fit those categories. Give it a try. It's free and I recommend it highly
Here's an example of the kind of thing that I find fascinating and found without looking for it, thanks to StumbleUpon
