Adv Exec Michael Farmer Highlights '60s Navy Service

Michael Farmer has had a career in Advertising and is author of recent title, "Madison Avenue, Man Slaughter". When we did a video business interview and asked about his background, he mentioned having been in Navy ROTC at Princeton and serving five years in the Navy on destroyers and teaching. When I asked about how he handled transition from Navy to civilian life Mr. Farmer smiled and described how much he learned as a young Navy officer with genuine enthusiasm. It's true about the responsibility. I was given 4 M1s and the crews the day I reported to the unit. It was also true that the responsibility becomes greater over the career.
