I’m all for it. Story time......
So the other night I went to assist a fellow Trooper who had been on a traffic stop for some time now. I advised Comms that I would be on scene with the Trooper. The second I put the unit in park, the subject decided to go on a little run. Texas Troopers wear cowboy boots and hats, so running in these boots is no joke. Not even 50 meters in, the Trooper states “I’m going back to get the car” obviously out of shape and making an excuse. As I continued running thru this neighborhood , I eventually caught up with the turd and was able to successful place him in cuffs. I PT not to look in the mirror and flatter myself. I PT so I can successfully do my job to the best of my ability and to go back home to my wife and kids after each shift. Morale of the story, it doesn’t matter what job profession you are in. You owe it to yourself, your family, your battle buddies, and your country to be the hardest person someone tries to kill.

The airlines are starting to crack down slowly as well. The official PC term is........wait for it..................."people of size". Southwest or American has it written on their webpage that if your a "person of size" and you cannot comfortably fit between two arm rests without significant overhang, you are expected to purchase two seats. Which I think is fair but I am not sure they enforce it all that well or I have not seen them enforcing it.
