Well, that's another fantastic reminder that we will always be an "other". Prior to 2016, I never felt a need to speak much about my background. Since then, I've had to defend being a minority in my own country. My sister, who looks Latina for some reason, has kids with a Mexican-American. Why is she stopped more often nowadays? Don't tell me it's not a widespread problem.

She has right to free speech, but is not free from consequences. Free speech means government will not persecute her, but employer has right to investigate...and maybe fire her.
