The problem lies in not effectively managing the resources you have. If you give someone 200k a year or 20k a year and do not teach them sound financial principles, they will waste it and have nothing left over. Our society today is a "Now" society. We don't wait for things we can't afford or create vision boards of our future. Instead, we buy them on a credit card and pay the minimum payments. We buy bigger houses than we can afford, and drive cars that are way above our means. The answer is teaching people to live BELOW their means and plan for their future.

Partially true... Moving is expensive. 70% of Americans are living month to month. Our young specialists and NCOs are no different. They are married younger and often incur expenses at of elder counterparts without the requisite life experiences to manage the turmoil.
