SSG Edward Tilton - Only in your mentally obtuse world is a mini gun the equivalent of a wall. A wall is a defensive embattlement that will harm no one that leaves it alone. A minigun weapon that will kill people in wholesale quantities. This is one of the thousands of reason progressives fail at every turn. Even the very obvious and simple escape you every single day.

My mentally obtuse world. Even the Great Wall didn't even slow down the Mongols, then there was the Maginot line. The only thing it will ensure is the extinction of wild game including the only Jaguar in the US. That wall will be visible from my yard but I sleep well without it. Build one at your house

Why does everyone assume the wall is meant to keep people out??? Did you ever consider it was meant to keep us from escaping if/when things go sideways?

What is meant to keep something out is also meant to keep something in - look at prison walls - they are meant to keep the average citizen out while at the same time keeping the criminal in - those 'inside' the wall are the criminals or detainees.

Yes I know people will say there is not a wall on the east/west or north - which is correct - but a wall around a place has to start somewhere.

Was it the movie Johnny English where John Malkovich played the bad guy with plans to put a wall all the way around England and turn the whole country into one big prison where no one could leave?
