Post is arrogant. I’m going to assume with confidence you’re not in the LEO career field. For starters these officers most likely have never even fired their weapons. Second, most policies state that officers on scene establish an outer cordon (which is exactly what they did), until SWAT shows up and actually conducts the raid on the school. It’s basic tactics. The only argument you can justify is the one security officer who was working that day. He hesitated and it cost the lives of many. He resigned recently knownling he failed. But to attack the Florida Law Enforcement is naive and idiotic.

This is from a law enforcement buddy: "When there's an active shooter you don't stand around or wait for backup; you go in and kill the threat... that's the universal training in law enforcement."

That’s not what they are training on classes. Joint training say every component had a part

Well, as much respect as I have lost for law enforcement in general, I would think that knee jerk reaction to what these deputies did or did not do is not helpful. The last thing that was needed in the school was a gaggle of dudes playing call of duty with no plan on how to clear all the rooms. If you haven’t been trained and excersised on how to clear the building more people will get hurt. Perhaps the safest move was to secure the perimeter and wait for trained responders.

Any of those 4 deputies ever shot an unarmed citizen?
