Well that guy just added millions to the inevitable settlements. Millions that I bet the families would trade for their kids back.

So arming teachers, giving them a little training, is going to deter another nut case make a hell of aq lot of sense. And a 30-year cop basically wets himself under pressure. I see a lot more dead teachers.

Unless you have performed under fire in a life threatening situation, no one knows what they will do. When in the company of fellow LEOs or fighters increase the probability of going on the attack. I believe I would defend the innocent, but couldn’t imagine using deadly force against a youngster. And we all know what happens if you hesitate.

I've thought about this, Master Chief. I think I could shoot a youngster that was killing others. Not gonna pound my chest and be all alpha, but I THINK I could.

There is another way to look at it. I can tell you being shot at and having to kill someone is not something that excites me however what may come if I do nothing scares me a lot more.

MAJ Byron Oyler Amen to that, Was scary enough to be a rigger on the recovery crew, not having a weapon and being shot at! once the vehicle was rigged up, then i was able to get my rifle. but jesus that feeling sucks.
