1stSgt Nelson Kerr - I am a fan of the 1st but for everybody...if you want to or don't want to pray it is your right just as it is my right to pray if I desire. Americans use the first to hide behind when it suits their belief(s). Either freedom of speech for all or not a all...don't pick and choose when it suits.

FFreedom for all would mean that Hail Satan should be
.This case is goverment endorsing a specific faith. By your logic Hail Satan would be required also

I am a living example to what prior does in school i was saved as a teen and turned my life around. Me and a couple students decided to have prayer before school my junior year of high school because drugs and teen pregnancy and gang violence was plaguing our school so we decided to take a stand and pray for our school and over the students and before the year was over we had over 500 students and several teachers had given their lives to Jesus. the violence droped to almost nothing the overall grade point average for the school went up and it was named a national model school that year. that is why I'm a firm believer in prayer in schools because prayer does change things

That is a fantastic testimony to the power of God’s answers to the faithful prayers of committed believers. But don’t mistake show for substance. People got saved and the atmosphere at your school changed because you and others prayed, cried out to God, and believed in His willingness and ability to answer your prayers. Not because you put up signs.
Col. 4:2, “ Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving”. Only Believers can devote themselves to prayer. When you start thinking a sign can be a substitute for the “effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man”, you’ve taken the first step to idolatry.
