Someone on RP recently went on a rant excoriating Justice Thomas, whom I defended. After reading this, I am encouraged that my defense was even more justified than I realized. Those who complain that SCOTUS is "conservative" in its ideological composition are greatly mistaken, and this decision proves it. The CA gun purchase law, its attacks on our 2nd Amendment rights, are an anathema to the Constitution and a red flag to all who profess to support it. At least Justice Thomas is true to his oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution...

CPT Jack Durish You spot on with this. For those law abiding citizens that live in California the gun purchase laws treats us like we are common criminals. We are in for more strict gun lwas as a new governor will be elected November. Newsome has basically wrote or co-authored almost every gun control law in the state. Now I am waiting until the 30 days are up to be eligible to purchase another one before they try and shut down the purchase of semi-auto handguns in the state.
