FWIW, I support the investigation. I won't even pretend to know either way, and I would like the investigation to conclusively prove whether or not it happened. However, these pleas so far have been unrelated to Trump and Russia (hell, the article plainly says so), so I am not sure what everyone is so excited about.

Capt Gregory Prickett, in that sense I agree. However, the implication from most posters (not necessarily you) is that this is somehow and indictment against Trump, when the article itself says the whole thing is unrelated (up to this point).
