Subs would be scary....One thing they say in the Navy, why be the fastest runner....you are on water. Why be the best swimmer...when a ship sinks is sucks everything down....and the oil is not good for your skin. Navy has some tough people.

LTC (Join to see) Wow! For the want of a carbon monoxide detector.
Shame to see anybody's military members dying due to something like this.

My wife gave me the movie k-19 Widowmaker and it made me extremely sad to think about what these men went through and how they suffered afterwards with radiation exposure. You are correct, it doesn't matter what Navy you're from, nobody should suffer like this!

PO3 Bob McCord - USS Olympia and USS Jefferson City were part of Our Battle Group for Desert Strike 96. Toured both. Being Exceptionally Tall I loved the Fact that I didn't Whack My Head on Overhead Valves like I did on USS California and USS Arkansas but the Incredibly Small P-Ways Sucked. Get to Know what Religion Your Shipmates are when You Pass each other. Also while stationed at My First Duty station CINCPACFLT I became an Off-Line Operator for "Blind Mans Bluff" so I was Mother Hen. Only Communications Link to the Fast Attack Boats Spying on Russia.
