SPC Diana D. They tried to do this with the left over FEMA trailers, but the Manufactured Homes Lobby spent millions to get a no vote on that plan. The container homes industry might be a good alternative. There are a lot of ways to care for the poor, but if it upsets someone’s apple cart it is not going to happen.

SPC Diana D.
SCPO Morris Ramsey Isn't it sad that we have come to this in our society. They would rather destroy the FEMA trailers than to figure out a way to use them for someone's benefit.

I can relate to respect and dignity being precious to homeless veterans. When my son was 4 years old, we were homeless due to a house fire. There were 30 day temporary shelters, but nothing like this. It would be great if those in positions of authority would allocate monies to duplicate this resource around the country. Us veterans who become homeless for myraid reasons do find our way with help and advocacy. That was the reason I volunteered 13 years of my recovering life to helping veterans. Great post SPC Diana D..
