I think that they should take a look at the non-deployables and classify them. There’s a great deal of knowledge and experience that stands to be lost that could be well suited for non-deployable positions like those in TRADOC and Recruiting and Retention. That would get the people hiding in those places that have never deployed into the rotation.

I agree cause I knew a CSM who never deployed but I was in 6 years two deployments. I think different reasons for not being deployable should be a case by case basic but if you can’t just simply pass a PT TEST or don’t wanna get shots for an appointment then kick them out!

If you are non deployable someone else is carrying your weight. That is wrong and those that cannot deploy should be moved along/out. We are not talking about a temporary issue here but the longer term non deployable. Someone else is having to deploy faster with less down time to pull the extra weight of those that are non deployable. They miss more time at home and take more risks with their lives and well being. Time to move along the sick, lame, lazy, blind, crippled and crazy (as we used to call them).
