If my 14 year old could create his ideal class schedule it would look something like: Physics, a math class (maybe Algebra or Geometry), some kind of engineering class (maybe Aeronautical engineering), Metal Shop, Woodworking, and a music class (maybe percussion)....and if he could fit it, Auto shop. The biggest problem is that most school districts are not even attempting to teach kids how to think or reason. They are only concerned with how they do on the local standardized test and teach to that.
