It certainly is a far cry from the original biathlon, with service rifles at unknown, and long ranges.
What the Hell. If they can think of "synchronized swimming" as a "sport" while eliminating wrestling, then nothing surprises me.

NC National Guard actually had a Biathlon team years ago. They competed but never placed high.
