Tom Hanks Wants Veterans To Audition For His Next War Movie

LT Brad McInnis Really? Your going to rag on Tom Hanks because of the movie "Saving Private Ryan?" In this case you are definitely comparing apples to oranges.

Though Tom may have starred in the movie, I do not see his name anywhere near the top, except as the lead actor. Shouldn't your disdain be reserved for Steven Spielberg for the movie "Saving Private Ryan?"

SSG Robert Webster - No, what i meant was if Tom was so proud of the military after working with them, that he wanted to add vets to his movies, why didn't he do this after Saving Private Ryan? I think it was a great movie and he was awesome in it. My only point in him getting vets involved now is because Clint Eastwood is seeing lots of deserved success after the Paris movie. If he truly believed what he is saying, he would have done it much earlier.

LT Brad McInnis - That may be so, however Mr. Eastwood has usually garnered a lot of success from his military themed movies and even in the past has used that as a point, even when they were bungled.
