NBC apologizes to after offending locals during Olympic coverage

One would think that networks would try to cover the events of the Olympiad and stop trying to pontificate about greater meaning and historical context etc. or at least get someone that knows the history of Korea. This is another example of the US media swooning too much, assigning too much meaning to things and not just doing their job which is covering the Olympics. This guy should know better, he is/was well placed at Starbucks and FedEx but appears woefully misinformed.
