I do hope this is "fake news." IMV, it would be a tremendous waste of time, money, and other resources ... and would accomplish absolutely ... nothing. Military strength is one of those things that, if you've got it, you don't flaunt it. Leave the flash and dash parades to Kim Jung Un.

To paraphrase the comedian Will Rogers. It makes more sense for the veterans and soldiers to be in the stands and the civilians to parade in the street.

I'm going to disagree with you sir. With the ever growing divide in this country with those of us who serve and those who do not, maybe doing a parade isn't the worst thing we can do, if anything it puts us out there for the public to see. Not to mention, I enjoy marching, calling cadence, and ̶f̶a̶l̶s̶e̶ motivation, maybe it's just the crazy ass NCO in me.
