Its like you can just see the mental knifehands slicing through the committee. He's right, though. For too long have the military gone year-to-year without a solid budget. Stop gap & sequestration are no way to ensure the military is ready to go. It is burning out its members.

Nathan, I have searched and searched for the best description of Mattis. It me within a few seconds, he is a warrior and a leader of warriors. He is the real deal, I am a huge Mattis fan.

Mattis is who and What We see. A man who has been in a warriors boots and wears the life scars that the job brings upon one. He cares through his entire heart and soul. If politicians do not listen to this leader, our military is doomed.
